In this case the membranes were covered with sheet copper cladding.

 

LONGSEAL
Longseal membranes offer excellent waterproofing for large span roof decks. In these applications the membranes must be covered with a suitable screed or cladding shortly after laying.

PROTAC
More commonly used in small areas as a detailing tape for waterproofing around roof projections, or around parapets on flat roofs, these tapes can also be manufactured in large roll format.
